Good Oak

Brisbane rockers Good Oak started in 2012 after a boozy, late-night jam between flat mates: Thomas Busby, Stephen Ryan and Brett Gibson. It didn’t take long for this trio to become a rocking six-piece band with a cult following. Showcasing powerful melodies, soaring harmonies and a knack for writing clever, relatable songs, it’s easy to understand the hype when you see them perform live. After the successful launch of their debut EP, Good Oak certainly turned a few heads when they sold out every show on their first headline tour down the East Coast. Their reputation as a world-class live band only grew as they performed at festivals such as Gympie Muster, River Sessions and Bleach Festival, and were hand-picked to support The Cat Empire across a string of national tour dates.

Good Oak spent a year writing the follow-up to their self-titled EP. When writing wrapped up, the band hightailed it to the Noosa North Shore where they teamed up with producer and friend Mark Myers (The Middle East, Cut Copy, Passenger). Good Oak released their first independent studio album, Public Service, in 2015.

Nat Dunn

A natural songbird, and lover of music, Nat Dunn has toured all over the world while discovering and defining a sound that is truly hers.

She’s best known for her vocal chops, although in the last couple of years she has developed into a songwriter of substance and produced a sound that is unparalleled in the female soloist category, which she affectionately calls “rock ‘n’ soul”.

From her sultry guitar-driven solo work to the stellar pop hooks she delivers time and time again, Nat Dunn has shown that she is a force to be reckoned with and continues to wow the music scene though her voice and words.

Sahara Beck

With the stunning vocal power of an angel holding you lovingly whilst delivering the wallop of truth to turn a lost life around, Sahara Beck has the lyrical depth of an old soul and the quirky demeanour of a mischievous cupid.

Brad Butcher

In 2012, Brad Butcher released his acclaimed self-tilted debut album, which earned him a showcase at BIGSOUND, Australia’s foremost international music conference. Finalist nominations for a range of Australian and international songwriting and artist development awards followed, as well as supports and guest appearances alongside Busby Marou, Bill Chambers, Mark Seymour and Pete Murray.

For his new album, Jamestown, recorded in New Jersey by Grammy-award-winning producer Marc Swersky (Joe Cocker, Diesel), Brad explores the themes of travel and the contrasting lifestyle of a fly-in fly-out worker who always has home in his heart and a guitar close to hand. At the core of it all though is an uncomplicated country bloke striving to connect, inspire and remain true.
