Slip-On Stereo

Funky and fresh Brisbane-based 4-piece band, Slip-On Stereo, is filling rooms all over the country at the moment. They were considered ‘the band to see’ when they broke onto the scene in early 2012 with their release of Mercury. The band’s following has exploded since the release of Rocksteady in early 2015, and they‚Äôre continuing their climb up the charts.

Self-described as ‘summer sounds’, their style is a unique blend of pop-funk, RnB, reggae and anything else they feel inspired to throw in the mix.

Slip-On Stereo are YouTube sensations and won the 2014 Telstra’s 2nd chance song competition. Zeek Power and Clint Wallace (former Busby Marou bassist) lead the band vocally while also holding the rhythm on guitars. Former Rookie band members and uncle/nephew relations, bass guitarist Phil Moore and drummer Ash Moore hold the heartbeat of the band together.

Slip-On Stereo have been part of the latest Channel 9 and Austereo’s pop-up shows campaign, as well Nova’s ‘instaparty’, which has seen them become one of Brisbane’s most sought after acts. Recently, the band has supported numerous local and international acts, such as Red Foo, Bonnie Anderson, 360, Samantha Jade, ILLY, Dami Im, The Vamps, and Sheppard.

The band’s diary is filling fast following electric, crowd-pleasing performances at festivals and packed shows up and down the East Coast. The next 12 months will see the band looking overseas, planning tours for Asia, Europe and North America.
